The new CD I received from STACIE ROSE is just a 3-song taste of her upcoming CD, "Shotgun Daisy" (Enchanted, c/o stacierose.com), but it's worth noting. It's nothing fans of singer-songwriter Stacie wouldn't be aware of, such as smooth vocals, hook-laden melodies, engaging lyrics, and even the other artists wanting to be involved, such as Shawn Mullins" on "Run Out." All three songs are keepers, and the press certainly tells of things to come, including collaborations with the likes of Steve Conte (New York Dolls) and James Maestro (Bongos, etc.). If a musician is associated by the quality of her musician fans/collaborators, she truly is a musician's musician. More to come.
